So here is how she started out.





So I got busy stripping her down to bare metal , did some body work and primed her for Paint.




I than built a small paint booth in the back of our warehouse and began to do the painting . First the white base coat.

Then the racing stripes were added.




Then I added the numbers 53 "Herbie"

I than worked on the back cowls doing them in gloss black


Then I semi assembled the scoot before the detail paiting

Then I flamed the rear cowls and cleared the entire scooter



Then I went over the engine that I will be keeping stock for now. It ran great and only had 6,000 miles on it.



Then I reinstalled engine , front forks , ran all new cables , installed new brakes and white wall tires.

She is sweet. Turns heads every where I go . I really took a chance with the paint scheme , but it worked when it all came together. More on this scoot later.
